AS-OISOU - Scheduled international missions - Togo - summer 2009

OISOU 1 15/06 to 05/07/2010 Activities with children Work with children through playful entertainment including educational workshops (drawing, singing, dancing, games, etc.) and sport activities. The volunteers will also organize skits and plays on subjects such as STDs with the goal being to raise awareness. Amoussoukope Agou 20
OISOU 2 07/07 to 27/07/2010 Renovation Volunteers will be responsible of renovating the village's primary school building. They will assist the technicians in the rehabilitation of the building. Cultural workshops will also be organized (local arts and crafts, batik, djembé and dance). Kpedji Zio 20
OISOU 3 14/07 to 03/08/2010 Renovation Volunteers will be responsible of renovating the village's primary school building. They will assist the technicians in the rehabilitation of the building. OISOU 4 21/07 to 10/08/2010 Reforestation The objective is to endow the village with sustainable resources thanks to profits stemming from the sale of harvests. The work of the volunteers will consist of putting seeds in bags, clearing plots of land, planting the seeds and watering the plantations. Agou Nyogbo Agou 20
OISOU 5 08/04 to 08/27/2009 Construction The volunteers will take part in the construction of public latrines. The tasks will consist of digging a septic pit, collecting soil and gravel, drawing water, helping masons prepare the perpends (bricks), building the foundations and raising the walls. Keve Ave 20
OISOU 6 06/08 au 26/08/2010 Activities with children Providing support to guarantee an effective start to the new school term. Volunteers will take charge of classrooms from primary to ninth grade (US) or year 10 (UK). The volunteers will also organize games, skits and plays, and sporting activities. Amoussoukope Agou 20
